The system is an ‘easy to install’ system
How does the system work:
When smoke/heat is detected the detectors send a signal to the main unit which sounds its internal siren, dials up to 6 numbers & also sounds the two extra wireless sirens- so everyone is alerted of the danger of fire!
The main unit
All the accessories are already programmed to the main unit
The unit has LCD display, backup battery, built in siren & many features, Its fully expandable so we can add more accessories ranging from smoke detectors, heat detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, breakglass call points, extra sirens, extra fobs, etc
Locate a suitable place for the main unit, ensuring that there is a power socket available. Plug the system in and switch in ON.
Set phone numbers
Press ‘telephone’ button & enter password ‘default is xxxx’, the system will show ‘1’ press ‘backspace’ & enter the telephone/mobile number then press ‘confirm’. You can use the down button to scroll through to slot number 2,3,4,5 & 6.
You don’t have to program 6 numbers if you dont want to
If you need to cancel any numbers just repeat the above & overwrite the number you want to replace
Record outgoing voice
This is basically the announcement the system will make when it calls the pre-programmed numbers. Press ‘telephone’ & input the password & press ‘6’ the system will display ‘REC’. Wait for the system to count down from 5 to zero & then speak clearly. (you have 10 seconds recording time)
Set time & date
Press ‘setup’ & enter password, then press ‘0’. The year setup entry will appear, enter the correct year & then the month & date setup will follow automatically. Simply enter the month & date & press ‘setup’
Change password
The default password of xxxx is easy to remember but if you want to change it, press ‘setup’ & enter password, then press ‘5’ & the password 1234 will appear. Use the ‘backspace’ button & change the password, then press ‘confirm’ to exit & save. Press ‘setup’ to return to normal screen
Check alarm records
Press’ record’ & enter password, the screen will show a number. That number represents the amount of records the system is holding. It can hold up to 100records. To check each detailed record, press the up/down arrows
Operating the system
After you have fixed all the accessories, you can arm the system using the provided keyfobs (press LOCK) or by pressing the LOCK button on the main unit. The alarm will beep and it will show ARM on the screen. You can test the system by pressing the ‘test’ button on the smoke detector. The system will go OFF & you need to press the UNLOCK button on the keyfob to disarm it.
In case of emergency, you can use the ‘break glass call point’ or the PANIC button on the keyfob/main unit
Fixing the sirens
The sirens receive a wireless signal from the detectors. Locate them near sockets as they need power supply. You can stop these sirens from sounding using the keyfobs. These get a signal from the main unit & they respond to signals from the ‘break glass’ , the keyfobs & the detectors
