The all new CAM630 NiteDevil is our best performing low light camera, even outperforming the outstanding CAM620. If you want great pictures in low light the CAM630 delivers results.
At night, the CAM630's intelligent electronics change the camera from colour mode to B&W mode and boost the resolution from 600TVL to 700TVL to reduce the night-time graininess associated with inferior products.
New Shield Function
The Intelligent Shield Function in the CAM630 NiteDevil DSP automatically "darkens" parts of the images that are too bright to correctly display. This means that the light balance of the video is restored and key areas can be seen.
WDR - The Dynamic Range of a camera is the difference between the darkest and brightest point of an image. In certain situations there will be a wide contrast between the two, such as a camera in a dimly lit pub or bar pointing towards a door or window on a brightly lit day. A camera with a WDR, is able to use shadowing detail on the dark areas as well as handle the brighter objects.
